It’s time to start thinking about end-of-semester presentations! We strongly encourage each DRP student to prepare a short talk (10-15 minutes) on the material you’ve learned this semester to give to other DRP students. Your DRP mentor will be able to help you prepare your talk, and nobody will be evaluating you on how you do, so this is meant to be a good way to get some practice presenting math in a fun and low-pressure environment!
This year, we’ll be holding the presentations on Wednesday, May 9, and Friday, May 11 from 1pm-5pm in 732 Evans and 736 Evans. We’ve sent out an email to all current DRP participants with instructions on how to sign up for a time slot to present. After everyone has signed up, we’ll send out a schedule for the talks, which will tell you what room you’ll be presenting in.
